NASA's newest observatory lifted off aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket on a journey to the L2 point, one million miles from Earth. With a field of view a hundred times wider than Hubble's, it will try to decode the 95% of the universe we still don't understand and catalog thousands of new worlds.
