Erika Ortuño’s leadership is defined by an unwavering commitment to accountability, community impact, and public service. As an immigrant and first-generation recipient of a Master of Public Administration, she possesses a profound understanding of the systemic barriers facing the Hispanic community. Drawing from both lived experience and professional expertise, she has dedicated her work to advancing advocacy, equity, and empowerment. As the founder of Fuerza Latina Unida, she has established a platform committed to uplifting and mobilizing underserved communities, fostering leadership, and creating pathways for collective progress. She is currently pursuing her legal education at the University of La Verne College of Law, further strengthening her capacity to serve, protect, and advocate for those whose voices are too often marginalized. She approaches the law not merely as a profession, but as a powerful instrument for systemic change. Her journey reflects resilience, purpose, and an enduring commitment to justice, guided by the principle “Sí Se Puede,” championed by Dolores Huerta.
